GCP Data Engineer

Role: GCP Data Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using GCP-native tools and frameworks.

Build scalable ETL/ELT processes using Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer) and BigQuery.

Implement real-time and batch data ingestion using Pub/Sub and Cloud Dataflow or alternative tools.

Develop and manage microservices for data processing using Cloud Run.

Use Git for version control and collaborative development.

Optimize and monitor data workflows to ensure high availability and performance.

Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to support data needs and integration across teams.

Document technical solutions, pipelines, and workflows clearly for team collaboration and maintenance.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially:

BigQuery

Cloud Pub/Sub

Cloud Composer (Airflow)

Cloud Run

Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and orchestration.

Experience with version control tools like Git.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT workflows, and best practices.

Experience building and deploying production-grade data pipelines.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹556,713.79 - ₹1,940,694.30 per year
