Job Title: Senior GCP Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Apache Airflow, and Apache NiFi. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and manage large-scale data solutions using BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
• Orchestrate workflows and data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Develop, manage, and optimize data ingestion and flow using Apache NiFi.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for data workflows.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and application teams.
• Apply best practices for security, cost optimization, and scalability on GCP.
• Support production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services, especially BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
• Extensive experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Strong experience with Apache NiFi for data ingestion and integration.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
