Job Description

Job Title: Transmission Mechanic Location: Dubai, Sharjah Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain automatic and manual transmissions for a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality workmanship. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex overhauls, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and troubleshoot transmission problems using diagnostic equipment and visual inspection. * Perform repairs, rebuilds, and replacements of automatic and manual transmissions, including clutches, gear trains, hydraulic pumps, and other components. * Conduct comprehensive inspections of transmission systems to identify additional safety or service work required. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes and flushes. * Utilize technical manuals and schematics to follow proper repair procedures. * Communicate with supervisors and service advisors regarding required repairs and work progress. * Document all work performed accurately on repair orders. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to all safety protocols. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in transmission technology and attend relevant training. Qualifications and Skills: * Proven experience as a Transmission Mechanic or a similar role. * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electronic components of vehicle transmissions. * Proficiency in using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Valid driver's license.
