We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented GEM Portal Operator to manage our procurement processes through the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling all aspects of GEM transactions, ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal policies. Preference will be given to female candidates who possess a strong understanding of the GEM portal functionalities and procedures.

This is a full-time on-site role for a GEM Executive at Royal Construction and Associates, located in Nagpur. The GEM Executive will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as managing GEM portal operations, handling e-tendering, bids, and contracts. The role involves the creation of quotations and proposals, tracking tender opportunities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with GEM guidelines. The candidate will work closely with the procurement and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate all aspects of the procurement process on the GEM portal, including but not limited to:
  • Creating and managing product/service catalogs.
  • Posting tenders and bids.
  • Evaluating bids and vendor selection.
  • Generating purchase orders.
  • Managing contract terms and conditions.
  • Processing payments and invoices.
  • Ensure all transactions on the GEM portal are in compliance with government guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all GEM portal activities and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, purchase, user departments) to gather requirements and facilitate the procurement process.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and address their queries related to GEM transactions.
  • Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and policies of the GEM portal.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on GEM portal activities as required.
  • Troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies that arise during GEM portal operations.
  • Assist in training internal stakeholders on GEM portal usage and best practices.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Experience in managing GEM portal operations and handling e-tendering
  • Proficiency in preparing quotations, proposals, and contract documents
  • Strong understanding of GEM guidelines and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and sales support experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
