GeM Tender Specialist / GeM Executive / GeM Bid Manager

  • Key Responsibilities:

Tender/Bid Management

Search, monitor, and shortlist relevant tenders on the GeM portal.

Prepare and submit bids/tenders as per tender specifications.

Ensure timely submission of all documentation before deadlines.

Track tender results and follow up on bid status.

Product Listing & Catalog Management

Create and manage product listings on GeM.

Ensure product specifications, pricing, and documentation comply with GeM policies.

Handle updates, deletions, and corrections on the portal.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain all registration documents, certifications (ISO, BIS, MSME, etc.).

Prepare and upload technical and financial documents as per tender requirements.

Handle contract signing, performance security, and post-tender compliance.

Coordination

Coordinate with internal departments (sales, accounts, logistics) for tender execution.

Liaise with government departments or buyers for clarifications and order follow-ups.

Reporting & Analysis

Maintain a tracker of all submitted and awarded tenders.

Analyze win/loss ratios and provide strategic insights to management.

  • Required Skills:

Strong understanding of GeM portal operations.

Knowledge of government procurement procedures.

Excellent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Good communication and documentation skills.

Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.

  • Qualification:

Graduate in Business Administration / Commerce / Engineering / Equivalent.

Experience: 3–5 years in GeM operations or government tendering preferred.
