Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, gardening, planting, and lawn care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming trees, pruning shrubs, installing irrigation systems, and maintaining hardscape features
• Operate equipment like excavators and snow plows to assist with construction projects or seasonal cleanup
• Cut and split firewood efficiently for customer orders or storage purposes
• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
• Maintain landscape features by installing or repairing hardscape elements such as pathways, patios, or retaining walls
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools effectively
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Familiarity with land preparation techniques including excavation and construction basics
• Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming, pruning, and removal procedures
• Ability to handle hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools safely and efficiently
• Understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance for healthy landscapes
• Skills in snow plowing operations during winter months for seasonal property upkeep
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety protocols during all outdoor activities
• Excellent physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor tasks across various weather conditions

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
