General Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CA Qualified Accountant to manage financial operations, reporting, compliance, and analysis. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, support decision-making, and maintain compliance with UAE tax and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IFRS.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and banks.
• Implement strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support management with cost analysis, profitability tracking, and business planning.
• Mentor junior accountants and ensure smooth team operations.

Desired Profile

• CA Qualification (mandatory).
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in manufacturing/trading/service industries is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
