Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and closing processes, and helping ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger: record journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and closing entries.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).

Perform account reconciliations (bank, sub-ledgers, intercompany) to ensure accuracy.

Manage accounts payable: process vendor invoices, verify approvals, schedule payments, and resolve discrepancies.

Manage accounts receivable: generate invoices, track receivables, follow up on collections, and reconcile AR balances.

Handle cash management: reconcile bank accounts, forecast cash inflows/outflows, and monitor liquidity.

Support month-end and year-end close processes: prepare adjusting and closing journal entries, set up accruals, and ensure completeness of financial records.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting: contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, and variance analysis.

Prepare and submit tax-related documents and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.

Facilitate internal and external audits: prepare audit workpapers, respond to audit queries, and implement recommended improvements.

Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency.

Utilize accounting software / ERP systems: accurately enter financial data, run reports, and reconcile system balances.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred 2–5 years of accounting experience, with prior work in a fast-paced or multi-entity business. Experience in F&B operations or real estate companies is a plus.

Strong Excel and accounting software (ERP) skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Good understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
