We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team.

Job Title: General Accountant

Location: [Sharjah]

Position Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to take on various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers and journals.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist with audits and other financial reviews as necessary.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency in the accounting department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
