General Accountant

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant who can join immediately to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounting records and the general ledger
• Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, trial balance, and final accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage monthly closing activities and financial reporting
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and intercompany balances
• Prepare VAT returns, perform VAT reconciliation, and ensure compliance with UAE FTA regulations
• Coordinate payroll processing and ensure timely WPS submission
• Manage fixed assets register and calculate depreciation
• Monitor costs, support budget control, and analyze variances
• Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and external consultants
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in UAE
• Strong knowledge of VAT and accounting standards
• Experience with accounting software
• Must be available to join immediately

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
