General Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant, to join our healthcare team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate must have prior accounting experience in a Home Health Care or Medical Center setting in the UAE, with strong knowledge of healthcare financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities (AP, AR, General Ledger)
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Support financial statements (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Monitor revenue, billing, and insurance collections
• Coordinate with RCM team for payment reconciliation
• Ensure accurate recording of patient billing and insurance transactions
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Support internal and external audits
• Implement financial controls and improve accounting processesManage day-to-day accounting transactions
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor revenue, billing, and insurance collections
• Coordinate with RCM and insurance teams for payment tracking
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure FTA compliance
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 4–6 years UAE experience, preferably in healthcare
• · Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• · Experience in medical center / hospital accounting
• · Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel
• · Strong analytical and reporting skills
• · Ability to handle both operational and supervisory responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
