General Accountant

A general accountant manages financial records, ensures accuracy and compliance, and supports business decision-making through reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, monthly or quarterly reports, and cost accounting reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end or year-end close processes.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations such as GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Record payroll expenses, accruals, and disbursements, and oversee fixed asset accounting.
• Support financial analysis to guide business decisions and improve financial practices .
• Perform miscellaneous accounting functions, including intercompany accounting, royalty accounting, and cost reporting

• Having a 5 yrs Experience as general accountant

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are often preferred .
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel interviewguy.com.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
