Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and verify all financial transactions (receipts, payments, journal entries, etc.).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring proper reconciliation.
- Process payroll in coordination with the HR department.
- Manage petty cash and ensure accurate documentation for all disbursements.
- Reconcile bank statements and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Monitor company expenses and assist in budget preparation.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Support the Finance Manager during audits by providing required documents and clarifications.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents for easy retrieval and reference.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in the real estate or construction sector).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and UAE financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent communication in Arabic(English is a plus).
