Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Record and reconcile journal entries, bank statements, and accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Prepare tax filings and assist with statutory reporting
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum [X] years of experience in a general accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
