We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
- Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics, ensuring adherence to infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Conduct dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and care, maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating knowledge of anatomy, endodontics, and dental fabrication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols, including documentation of patient care, assessments, and treatment outcomes.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms to manage patient information efficiently.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions, fostering positive patient relationships and ensuring understanding of procedures.
- Uphold strict infection control standards, including sterilization, disinfection, and proper handling of dental instruments and materials.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and related fields to provide innovative and effective care.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and stay compliant with industry standards.
Requirements
- Valid dental license to practice as a General Associate Dentist in the respective jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in general dentistry, with additional skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics preferred.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy to accurately diagnose and treat patients.
- Experience with dental imaging, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and dental fabrication techniques.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and explain treatment options clearly.
- Commitment to infection control, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical records management and medical documentation standards.
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or dental office setting is highly desirable.
