General Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Job Salary: Full time 40 hrs/ week; 30/hr with potential for advancement depending on knowledge. There will also be bonuses available dependent upon production.

Performance Plus Automotive LLC is looking for a highly motivated auto tech with knowledge to add to our team. We are a family owned and operated business. We have been in the Des Moines area for over 35 years, and are known for the great care we take with employees and clients alike. We work on all types of cars, trucks and RV’s. We also work on diesel vehicles, so diesel knowledge is a bonus, but is not necessary. Work week is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour off for lunch. There are no mandatory Saturdays or evenings. Overtime is occasionally available, but not obligatory.

We are looking for someone who is well rounded in automotive repair knowledge, from oil changes to engine and transmission replacement. Knowledge of computer diagnostics and diesel would be a bonus, but not necessary.
