General Bar Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Bar General Manager to oversee daily operations at our fast-paced bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in hospitality, delivers exceptional customer service, motivates staff, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations while driving sales and profitability.

Duties

• Manage all daily bar operations
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, kitchen staff, and support team members
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels, liquor counts, and supply ordering
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and nightly reporting
• Ensure compliance with Louisiana alcohol regulations and company policies
• Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Create staff schedules and manage labor costs
• Assist with promotions, events, and social media engagement
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching when needed
• Work closely with ownership to improve operations and increase revenue

Requirements

• Experience managing a daiquiri shop, sports bar, or nightlife venue
• Knowledge of staff scheduling and labor management
• Experience with marketing promotions and event coordination
