General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry - Video Lecturer

Jack Westin is a rapidly growing online education technology company that is looking for experienced educators in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry to serve as onscreen instructors for our MCAT® video lectures.

The ideal candidates will possess a passion for teaching, a strong academic background, and the ability to present complex scientific concepts in a clear, engaging, and student-friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Passion for students and education
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
• Ability to think strategically and analytically, and transform conceptual ideas into a finished, visually appealing product
• Review and internalize scripts, slides, and other instructional materials before filming
• Deliver content in a clear, approachable, and engaging style for students
• Work closely with our education and production teams to ensure high-quality lessons
• Listen to and respond positively to feedback
• Work alongside our product leaders, educator peers, and video editors to improve our video products
• Meet project deadlines for assigned recordings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience teaching or tutoring at the undergraduate level (2+ years preferred)
• 2+ years of experience creating or delivering educational videos/lectures
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• High energy, personable, and passionate about student learning
• Organized, reliable, and responsive to feedback
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
