General Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial, residential, and industrial spaces. Your proactive approach will help create safe, inviting environments that meet our high standards of quality and professionalism.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to ensure a polished appearance
• Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair
• Support facilities maintenance activities including light repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
• Assist with special projects such as post-construction cleaning or detailed restoration tasks when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties, or facilities maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet maintenance
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
