General Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable part-time cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, wiping down tables, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining stairwells. The role also involves operating a push floor scrubber (easy to use; training provided). After completing training, the cleaner will work independently following an assigned route. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 AM – 7:30 AM.

Additional Details:

• Pay increase after a 60-day probationary period.
• No driver’s license required.
• Free private parking provided (no parking fees).
• Short walk (approximately half a block) from parking area to the building.

General Cleaners maintain the cleanliness of their designated buildings/areas by performing various cleaning duties. Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned by the supervisor/manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:

• Dust surfaces include desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, etc.
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal area.
• Sweep and mop hard-surfaced floors.
• Vacuum floors using upright vacuum and/or vac paks.
• Spot clean carpet.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies- ensure restrooms are stocked
• Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Job duties and/or assigned areas may be modified at any time based on customer or manager discretion.
• Follow all company Safety standards and procedures.
