Job Title: Quality Assurance Clerk
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for reviewing files and data to ensure compliance with customer business rules and established quality standards. This role supports production accuracy by identifying errors, monitoring trends, and recommending improvements to processes and systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review files and data to ensure all customer business rules and quality standards are met.
- Follow all quality procedures and objectives related to the position.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, diagrams, flowcharts, SOPs, and procedure manuals.
- Record observations and compile data to identify trends and provide insights to the management team.
- Define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw informed conclusions.
- Identify opportunities to improve production accuracy and reduce systematic errors, and communicate recommendations for process improvements.
- Meet deadlines in a production environment while handling multiple priorities.
- Perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications
- Data entry and 10-key typing speed of at least 10,000 keystrokes per hour (KPH).
- Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work the scheduled shift of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 35–50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work in a production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
