General Contractor- Assistant Superintendent

General Contractor Specializing in Commercial Tenant Improvement is looking for a Assistant Superintendent with commercial construction experience. This position will oversee small tenant improvement projects, while working with other members of the team. The ideal candidate would be eager to learn, organizationally focused and posses strong communication skills. Drywall and T-bar experience a plus, but not required. Bilingual a plus.

• Schedule and meet with City Inspectors
• Schedule subcontractors and field personnel
• Manage projects in a timely manner
• Provide daily project status updates to management
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Must have excellent follow thru skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent people skills in a positive and cooperative manner, able to meet with meet effectively with clients, management, subcontractors and field staff, must be able to lift to and exceeding 50 lbs, must have reliable transportation and good driving record and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
