As we continue to expand, we are seeking a General Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance and ensure our operations remain compliant, efficient, and risk-aware.
Position Overview
The General Counsel will serve as the organization’s lead legal advisor. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare attorney who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can balance strategic and hands-on legal work.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise executive leadership on legal strategy, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, employment contracts, and partnership documents.
- Oversee compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and state-specific requirements.
- Provide counsel on corporate governance, employment law, and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with outside counsel as needed.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures, and training to ensure compliance across departments.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
- 8+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in healthcare law, corporate law, and compliance.
- Prior experience as in-house counsel or fractional/outsourced general counsel preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to healthcare providers.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with executive teams.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $155,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
