About Us:
Vax-Exempt.com is a growing telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed physicians for medical vaccine exemptions. We are a mission-driven company dedicated to patient choice, privacy, and informed consent.

We are seeking an experienced attorney licensed to practice in all 50 U.S. states (or able to supervise a nationwide legal network) to serve as our General Counsel / Compliance Lead. This individual will provide legal guidance to our physicians and ensure that exemption letters are legally sound, defensible, and compliant with federal and state law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing legal support to licensed MDs and telehealth practitioners across multiple states.
  • Offer legal guidance regarding documentation standards, exemption language, and scope of physician authority.
  • Serve as the legal backdrop for the exemption letters themselves — ensuring that each letter is defensible and compliant.
  • Communicate and, when necessary, correspond with schools, employers, or administrative bodies to enforce the validity of exemption letters on behalf of patients.
  • Advise on state-specific telehealth and medical exemption regulations.
  • Monitor evolving vaccine exemption laws and assist with updates to internal policies and templates.
  • Support company leadership on matters of regulatory compliance and healthcare law.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license (or multi-jurisdictional authority) to practice law in all 50 U.S. states, or ability to supervise a national network of counsel.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare, telemedicine, or administrative law.
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and state-level medical regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mission-aligned with patient rights, informed consent, and medical freedom principles.

Compensation:

  • Competitive retainer or hourly rate, depending on experience.
  • Fully remote role with flexible hours and growth potential as the company scales nationally.

How to Apply:

Please submit your résumé, state licensure list, and a short cover letter outlining your experience supporting healthcare professionals or telehealth platforms.
