General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations to assess patients' oral health.
• Perform general dentistry procedures, including dental extractions and restorations.
• Provide pediatric dental care with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately in patient records and communications.
• Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
• Maintain an organized and efficient dental office environment.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.
• Interpret medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid dental license to practice in the state.
• Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including but not limited to dental extractions and pediatric care.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience with dental fabrication techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential for maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Proficient in using Opendental or similar dental office management software.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $673.36 - $800.00 per day
