Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis: Conduct dental examinations, including taking and interpreting X-rays, to diagnose various dental and oral conditions.
- Treatment: Perform procedures such as teeth cleaning, fillings, extractions, root canals, and placing crowns, bridges, and implants.
- Prevention: Provide preventive care, including fluoride treatments, sealants, and advising patients on brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to maintain oral health.
- Oral Hygiene: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific dental needs and conditions.
- Patient Management: Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and other dental staff to ensure quality patient care and smooth clinic operations.
