Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics, while ensuring patient comfort and care throughout their visit.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for medical documentation and patient records management.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license and eligibility for board certification.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology is essential.
  • Proficient in medical imaging techniques and understanding of anatomy knowledge related to dentistry.
  • Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and communication; ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $141,542.14 - $170,459.34 per year
