General Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and various dental procedures. The Dentist will work collaboratively with dental staff to ensure optimal patient care and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices.
• Proficient in performing root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures.
• Prior experience in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to ethical standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per day
