Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist DOH license with implant privelage to join our cedars medical center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, assessing patient needs, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including preventive care, restorative treatments, and extractions.
- Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including medical imaging and dental fabrication techniques.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and eligibility to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
- Experience in endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and root canal therapy is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
