Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to provide high-quality dental services.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide exceptional patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatment methods.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable.
- Proficient in pediatric dentistry practices and techniques.
- Ability to perform complex procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
