Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires expertise in general dentistry, as well as experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. The Dentist will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Administer dental extractions and root canal therapy while adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize medical imaging and dental fabrication techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
  • Experience in four-handed dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Job Type: Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $493.88 - $593.88 per day

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
