Key Responsibilities
Perform routine dental examinations, cleanings, and preventive care.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
Provide restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and root canals.
Perform extractions, including surgical extractions when necessary.
Administer local anesthesia and other pain management techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care strategies.
Develop and present treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and specialists when needed.
Comply with all infection control, health, and safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
New graduates or experienced dentists welcome (specify if applicable).
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Professionalism and a commitment to patient care.
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
Working Conditions
Clinical dental office setting.
Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend shifts (depending on practice).
Use of dental instruments, X-ray equipment, and protective gear.
