Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring the highest standards of patient assessment, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, including but not limited to pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. The General Dentist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical documentation and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform a range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and medical imaging.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Provide pediatric dental care with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid dental license to practice in the state.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Experience in general dentistry with a focus on pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with endodontics, oral surgery, and infection control practices.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess and address diverse patient needs.
