General Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and possess a comprehensive understanding of various dental procedures. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all individuals visiting our clinic. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to uphold the highest standards of dental care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and dental fabrication.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dental clinic of 2+ years.
• Active Maryland dental license.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices is essential.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with skills in root canal therapy and other specialized treatments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $124,881.80 - $150,395.28 per year
