Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to evaluate patient oral health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, if possible. We can discuss any items that the candidate may not be comfortable performing.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in general dentistry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: $800.00 - $900.00 per day
