Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and experience working with advanced dental software systems. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Provide a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, bone grafts and prosthodontics.
- Conduct oral surgeries including dental extractions and root canal therapy with aseptic technique.
- Utilize advanced dental technology including Eaglesoft, tailored to individual patient needs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver four-handed dentistry for optimal patient comfort and efficiency.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure the sterilization of dental instruments in accordance with industry protocols.
- Keep accurate documentation of procedures performed and update medical records following each appointment.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft, with a strong understanding of medical documentation processes.
- Extensive knowledge of general dentistry practices including dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Ability to communicate effectively using dental and medical terminology while ensuring patient understanding.
- Skilled in infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures and medical imaging techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to perform patient care with compassion while adhering to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality.
