Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
  • Carry out complex dental treatments including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery with precision and care.
  • Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose issues accurately and plan effective treatment strategies.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.
  • Manage medical records accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
  • Stay current with advances in general dentistry, including new techniques in endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Ensure the dental office adheres to all safety standards related to infection control, medical imaging, and anatomy knowledge.

Requirements

  • Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist.
  • Proven experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting; prior dental office experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
  • Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and pediatric dentistry when applicable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; experience in pediatrics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging technology used in dentistry for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment, comfort, and education.

Pay: $117,702.34 - $141,749.05 per year
