Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient education. This role requires a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and proficiency with modern dental technology. The successful applicant will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of oral health and patient satisfaction within a collaborative team environment.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans, including procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
  • Execute various dental procedures with precision, including oral surgery, dental fabrication, and four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
  • Utilize dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care in a team-oriented setting.
  • Stay current with advancements in general dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency with dental technology including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix; experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control standards.
  • Experience in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
