Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and treatment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. A strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and medical documentation is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose oral health conditions
- Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and oral health education
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Experience in a dental clinic or office setting preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques
- Strong skills in patient care and assessment with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a clinical environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients of all ages

Base Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per day
