Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental treatments including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental imaging techniques and anatomical knowledge to diagnose oral health issues accurately.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with patients to educate them on oral hygiene practices and treatment options, fostering a positive patient experience.
- Manage medical documentation diligently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Use dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document procedures and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Provide pediatric dentistry services when necessary, demonstrating expertise in treating children’s dental needs.
- Perform dental fabrication tasks such as prosthodontics restorations when required.
- Maintain current knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and advancements in endodontics and oral surgery to enhance clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in dental office or clinic environments.
- Proficiency with dental software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), and prosthodontics.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic technique essential for safe practice.
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canals, and other complex procedures confidently.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation standards, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.

Pay: $166,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
