Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our client's dental practice on a full-time basis in Westover MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Annual Salary:
$180,000.-200,000. DOE

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid Maryland dental license to practice dentistry.

Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.

Proficiency in Exodontia

Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is preferred.

Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus for those interested in treating younger patients.

Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental office setting.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Experience with medical records management is advantageous.
Duties

Perform thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.

Conduct various dental procedures, including restorative work, oral surgery, and preventive care.

Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix software.

Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe dental clinic environment.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.

Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
