Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our client's dental practice on a full-time basis in Westover MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.


Location: Westover, Maryland

Weekly Work Hours : 8:00 am -4:30 pm ET

Work Days: 5 Days Per Week

Annual Salary: $180,000.-200,000. DOE

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Maryland dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Proficiency in Exodontia
  • Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is preferred.
  • Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus for those interested in treating younger patients.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental office setting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Experience with medical records management is advantageous.



Duties

  • Perform thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct various dental procedures, including restorative work, oral surgery, and preventive care.
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix software.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe dental clinic environment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
