General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment in accordance with industry standards.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and training.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
• Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic is preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics or prosthodontics is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in an understandable manner.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
