We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team for our Medicaid and Medicare patient load. Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using advanced medical imaging techniques.
- Deliver a broad spectrum of general dentistry services with attention to allotted time: such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics procedures.
- Conduct complex dental procedures including root canal therapy, simple dental extractions.
- Utilize electronic health record systems like IDental Soft to document patient information accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality.
- Implement infection control protocols diligently to ensure a sterile environment and prevent cross-contamination.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
- Requirements:
- Valid dental license to practice in the respective jurisdiction with current credentials.
- Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; familiarity with dental office workflows is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as IDental Soft for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards aligned with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions (including surgical), prosthodontics fabrication, and endodontic treatments.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating pediatric patients when necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
