Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable private dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient comfort. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and techniques, including Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care across a broad spectrum of dental services, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and more.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using medical imaging and dental terminology to diagnose oral health issues.
- Provide a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontic procedures with proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure seamless workflow within the dental clinic environment.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, medical terminology, and dental fabrication techniques to provide state-of-the-art care.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards related to medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist.
- Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred.
- Proven expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and root canal therapy.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management.
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic technique.
- Ability to perform dental extractions and other complex procedures with precision.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
