General Dentist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnosing and treating oral diseases, and promoting oral health. Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and dental X-rays
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients, ensuring they understand their options and the associated costs
- Administer anesthetics to patients when necessary
- Perform simple tooth extractions, root canals, and other dental procedures
- Fit patients with dental appliances such as dentures or braces
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive dental care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental office environment
- Comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients in a clear and understandable manner
