Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinic environment utilizing advanced dental technology and fostering a patient-centered approach. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review
  • Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques
  • Administer treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics
  • Conduct oral surgery procedures with aseptic technique and infection control standards
  • Utilize dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, and other restorations
  • Implement four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, including new techniques and materials

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current DEA certification if applicable
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry, including pediatrics-specific procedures and patient care strategies
  • Skills in oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canals, restorations, and other complex procedures
  • Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively
  • Experience working within a dental office or clinic environment preferred
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of medical records

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per day

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
