Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Dentist with strong communication and people skills to join our well-established, privately owned practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth—both clinically and financially—in a supportive environment that prioritizes quality dentistry and work-life balance.
As the sole treating doctor (no shared patients or production), you will deliver high-quality care, diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions, perform restorative and preventive procedures, and educate patients on maintaining long-term oral health. Our practice is committed to providing a pressure-free setting where you can focus on excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, procedural proficiency, and a commitment to evidence-based dentistry in the following areas:
Perform thorough new-patient, periodic, and limited examinations, including caries risk assessment, periodontal charting, occlusal evaluation, soft-tissue screenings, and diagnostic interpretation of radiographs and intraoral images.
Formulate clear, patient-centered treatment plans and complete same-visit restorative or emergency procedures when clinically appropriate to enhance patient experience and case acceptance.
Diagnose and manage dental pathology across a broad clinical spectrum. Perform direct and indirect restorations, simple and surgical extractions, full-coverage crowns, bridge preparations, and prosthodontic procedures (partial/complete dentures). Maintain high technical accuracy in margin integrity, occlusion, and esthetics.
Provide predictable, high-quality endodontic treatment, including pulpotomies and non-surgical root canal therapy, utilizing proper isolation, instrumentation, irrigation protocols, and obturation techniques.
Apply strict infection-control standards in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Maintain sterile fields, proper instrument handling, and aseptic workflow throughout all clinical procedures.
Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative care, oral hygiene techniques, and long-term disease prevention. Communicate findings using clear, empathetic, and health-literacy-appropriate explanations.
Maintain meticulous, HIPAA-compliant clinical notes in Curve Dental, including charting, medical history review, informed consent, treatment notes, anesthesia documentation, and billing codes.
Work efficiently with dental assistants to optimize operatory flow, isolation techniques, instrument transfer, time management, and patient comfort.
Stay current with clinical innovations, materials, and best practices. Participate in continuing education to enhance diagnostic accuracy, procedural efficiency, and overall patient outcomes.
