Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. This is a part time job. Ideal candidate can work Mondays and Fridays. We are looking for a general dentist that will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
• Carry out dental extractions, restorations, and other necessary procedures with precision and care.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety and hygiene.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
• Manage patient records using software such as Epic or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and patient interactions.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies to promote long-term health.

Skills

• Proficient in restorative dentistry.
• Strong focus on patient care with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with dental clinic operations and workflow management.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and procedures.
• Experience with medical imaging technologies relevant to dentistry.
• Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks as needed.
• Competence in maintaining an aseptic environment during clinical procedures.
