Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and experience with various dental software systems. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality dental services in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced techniques and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using medical and dental terminology.
  • Deliver a wide range of dental treatments including restorative procedures, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
  • Utilize digital imaging and other diagnostic tools to evaluate oral health conditions accurately.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Administer anesthesia and perform oral surgery procedures with aseptic technique.
  • Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Maintain detailed medical records and ensure proper documentation of all treatments performed.
  • Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery within the dental clinic environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in general dentistry procedures including dental fabrication, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and infection control practices.
  • Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and familiarity with medical imaging techniques.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using appropriate medical terminology while maintaining compassionate patient interactions. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $500.00 - $5,000.00 per day
