High Technology Office: CBCT machine for 3d x-rays, T-Scan for bite adjustment, Electromygraphy equipment and jaw tracker, Electric Handpiece and Air driven, MLS laser therapy, and 2 digital intra-oral scanners, Invisalign use, sleep apnea oral appliance use . Advanced dental photography setup. Will work alongside owner dentist a few days a week. Mentorship is available.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced dental technology, and maintaining strict adherence to infection control and HIPAA regulations. The successful applicant will have a strong background in general dentistry procedures and a passion for improving patients' oral health.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using medical and dental terminology.
- Deliver a wide range of dental treatments including restorative procedures, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Conduct patient care activities with empathy and professionalism, ensuring patient comfort and understanding of treatment options.
- Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient workflow through four-handed dentistry practices.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, including pediatrics-specific procedures and patient management.
- Expertise in dental procedures such as dental fabrication, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Excellent understanding of medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology while maintaining clarity for patients.
- Experience with medical documentation and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry for optimal patient care. Pay: $110,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
